Jacksonville Award Winners and More!

Mitchell Printing and Graphics, Jim and Nadine Mitchell, Batesburg-Leesville, SC, (Jacksonville 1)

The Management Award for Jacksonville One goes to a company that has gone through a rough year. The company has made a strong commitment to refocus after a year of slow sales and family issues. The owners have now put life changing events behind them and are kicking their sales activities in high gear so they can return to the positive growth they were seeing 18 months ago. Reenergized by their Board, the company has set goals to become a “leaner and meaner” organization. They are making tough decisions at this Board meeting, but they have pledged to themselves to overcome their obstacles and get back on the road to prospering. The company set goals and obtained them, even in trying times.

This affiliate has made some difficult decisions this year and has fought hard to get where they are. During their last onsite, they released to the industry an employee who was a close member of the family and a veteran worker. They also reduced the salary of the production manager who… also happens to be their son. Also as of this year they have gained their initial CPrint® Certification by meeting all minimum performance standards and minimum competitive requirements. They complete their actionable items and maintain regular contact with their consultant. They are doing what is most important rather than what is most fun and we expect to see a lot out of this company in the future.
